Hello

I am Jim Cormier from Colfax, CA and I am proud to design graphics for our Nation's Military.

My Background:
I was employed as a Civil Service employee at McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA for 14 years. The last seven years as a graphics illustrator. It was during my time there at McClellan that I had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the finest military personnel in the Air Force.

When the base closed in 2005 I was asked by the McClellan Chiefs Group President, CMSgt George Moses, to be the web master for the Air Force Chiefs web site. It has been a privilege and honor for me to continue to maintain the web site for the McClellan Chiefs Group to this day.

In May of 2003 I had the distinct honor of being nominated and accepted as an Honorary Chief by the McClellan Chiefs Group. My induction took place at Travis Air Force Base, CA as part of their yearly Induction Ceremony.

I cannot begin to express how proud I am to be so graciously welcomed into the Air Force family as one of their own. I know that I am among a chosen few civilians that have had this honor of Honorary Chief bestowed on them. I have told the Chiefs many times that if I would have had mentors & leaders like them during my two year tour of duty in the US Army in 1964-1966 I would probably have made the military my career choice.

I will do my very best to design graphics and web sites for our Nation's Military that will capture the professionalism, honor, and dignity that these Military Organization deserves.

The efforts I put fourth in my designs is my way of saying thanks not only to my Fellow Chiefs but to all of those who now are dedicating their lives to the protection of our country and what it stands for. I also take special pride in the design work I do to honor our retired service men and women.
