I am Jim Cormier a Graphic Designer, education & curriculum
developer and a freelance CorelDRAW trainer and owner of Square
One Graphics in Colfax CA.
I have been
using CorelDRAW since version 3.0 and I enjoy helping others
Master the Power of CorelDRAW. I am currently working with and
instructing on Corel X4 & X5 Graphics Suites
but can also instruct in earlier versions for those of you who
have still not upgraded.
All the graphics
you see displayed on this web site were created predominantly
with the Corel Graphics Suite along with years of experience
and dedication that have allowed me to become as proficient as
possible in the use of the Corel Graphics Suite.

If you have
recently purchased CorelDRAW or have been using it for quite
a while but need help I can help you Master the Power of CorelDRAW
with one-on-one private lessons.
I was
the founder & president of ACE Aspiring Corel
Enthusiasts, a local Sacramento, CA based CorelDRAW users
group, for over five years and loved getting together with other
CorelDRAW users and sharing our knowledge. I also have taught
Corel lessons at Computer Utilization in Rancho Cordova,
CA as well as The Training Source in Sacramento, CA
providing training to organizations like the California Department
of Fish & Game, the California Highway Patrol,
other State & Local agencies, along with large
and small businesses employees as well.
I am
currently specializing in freelance graphic design support and
web site design for all branches of our nation's Military and
I also design web sites, provide Freelance Graphics Design services
to individuals and small businesses. I also offer One-On-One
CorelDRAW training and small classes in the CorelDRAW Graphics.
These lessons can be held in my office or at my clients home
or place of business.

If you have been looking around on the Internet, in your local
phone books or in your local newspaper you have quickly found
out that finding available training in CorelDRAW, in your area
or especially within the greater Sacramento, CA area, or any
where else for that matter, is difficult, if not impossible,
to find. I always tell my students to remember that "Learning
to effectively use the Corel Graphics Suite is like eating
an elephant,you can only do it by taking one bite at a time."

save this Team Viewer executable as an icon on your desktop.
When you launch the Team Viewer Module you will ge given an ID
& Password which I will ask you for at the begining
of each remote sessions. |

on the icon above and download & Install Yahoo Messenger.
Once you set up your FREE account e-mail me your
Log On ID so I can add you to my list. My Log On ID is
coreldrawguru1. be sure to add me to your Pals list. We use
this program for the voice portion of remote access. |

Once
we have decided on a Training option for you an invoice will
be e-mailed to you. When you click on the Pay Pal link you will
be taken to Pay Pal where you can enter your credit card information
on their secure server and authorize you payment to Square One
Graphics.
Note: You do not need to be a Pay Pal member to use this service. |

Rates
will very depending if you come to me, if I come to you.
I currently
offer One-on-One classes either in
my office or in your home or office. I currently restrict my real-time one-on-one
training to include the greater Sacramento, CA area only. The hourly charge
for my classes is $45.00 per hour. If I travel
to your home or office an additional $5.00 and hour charge will be added to my
hourly rate to cover mileage and the cost of rising gas prices.
If
a second student attends the training with you their hourly rate
will be $35.00 per hour regardless of the length
of the class.
On-Line
Training
may be
an option for your training needs. I offer On-Line Training
on a case
by case
basis. I have limitations for On-Line Training
due to low Internet Bandwidth in my area. We will always do a
speed test
prior to setting up a training schedule.
On-Line
Training charge
is $40.00 per hour. Call me and let's decide if On-Line Training
could be an option for you're CorelDRAW Training requirements. |

IMPORTANT NOTICE
A fee
of $45.00 will be charged if you cancel a schedule
class within a week prior to the scheduled class date. The reason
for this is because I would have spent time preparing for your
specific training requirements and also I would have cleared
my calendar for your scheduled training day & time and could
not have enrolled other students during this time period.
I will invoice
you for this charge through PayPal or bill you direct which ever
you prefer. |

I am a stay
at home mom that was/is interested in drawing children’s
art and creating custom photo cards to sell as a business. I
knew what I wanted to draw and that it would have to be done
digitally, but I had NO IDEA how to do what I wanted to do or
where to even start. Someone had recommended Corel DRAW, but
I soon realized I would obviously need to take some classes to
learn the software. I googled to see if there was anyone that
could train me and Jim’s website popped up.
When I saw
his many years of experience in Corel Draw I took a chance and
emailed him. Even though he’s in California and I live in
Washington, I thought maybe he could direct me to someone/someplace
that could teach me the software. Wow, am I ever glad I took
that chance. He had just gotten his program to train people On-Line

understatement!
Jim is amazing.
He is very knowledgeable with the CorelDraw software. He is able
to specifically address the needs for what I want to learn for
my business. He is so patient and will always take the time to
go over something multiple times if I am frustrated or can’t
quite get it. If he isn’t completely sure of something that
I want specifically, he will always figure it out and get back
to me.
I am a VERY
visual person and I can not imagine trying to learn this in a
classroom setting. The amount of information I have gained from
these One-On-One On-Line Trainings Classes is incredible.
And the best part is that I am doing it without having to leave
my house! Jim has gone above and beyond what I was hoping/looking
for. I am amazed at how much I have learned and can now ‘draw’
because of him. I have only had four sessions, but plan to have
more. I highly, highly recommend Jim if you are wanting to learn
more about this amazing software. Whether you are a beginner
like me or just want to excel in certain areas of the software.

sought out to find educational materials on Corel Draw, we realized
how difficult it is to find classes in Northern California. Jim,

 I constantly receive images from my
clients that they want me to use on various engraving and sublimation
projects. These images must be converted to Vector for me to
be able to use them. I use CorelDRAW in my business and even
took lessons from Square One. I soon realizes it was more cost
effective to have them do the Raster to Vector conversion then
me trying to do it myself as well as trying to finding the time
to produce and market my products.
My experience
