Above, fellow Soldiers, representing each branch of the military, carry a Fallen Brother
or Sister in their Last Parade. This is done with Professionalism, Dignity and Honor.

I use this poem often. I think it applies both to a Soldiers Retirement as well as his or her last good-bye..
It is called The Last Parade.

 Let the bugle blow
Let the march be played
With a forming of the troops
For my last parade

The years of wars and the years of waiting
Obedience to orders, unhesitating
Years in the states, and the years overseas
All woven in a web of memories

A lifetime of service passes in review
As many good friends and exotic places too
In the waning sunlight begin to fade
With the martial music of my last parade

My last salute to the service and base
Now someone else will take my place
To the sharp young airmen marching away
I gladly pass the orders of the day

Though uncertain of what my future may hold
Still, if needed - before I grow too old
I'll keep my saber sharp, my powder dry
Lest I be recalled to duty by and by

So let the bugle blow
Fire the evening gun
Slowly lower the colors
My Last Parade has begun

I had the honor of creating this CD for the family and friends of CMSgt Tex Burton USAF (Retired) back in 2004.

It captured the honor and respect paid to Chief Burton as he joined the ranks for his last parade.

I tried to capture the Professionalism and Honor that the rank of CMSgt carries with it even into a Chief's final PCS.

This CD is something I hope that the family will cherish forever and look back with fond memories on the times they shared with Chief Burton.

The turn out for the Memorial Service was truly a tribute to Chief Burton. It was obvious that he touched the lives and hearts of many during his service to his country and the United States Air Force.

To the left you will see the interactive interface that is used to navigate through the CD just as you would a web site.

The buttons on the interface played sounds or music when they were selected prior to taking you to the page you selected.

The Grave Side Service was beautiful and moving. Members of the McClellan Chiefs Group and the VFW took part in the final tribute to Chief Burton.

Let me have the privilege of creating a CD such as this for a relative or friend who
has given their life to the service of our country and the United States Military.

E-mail me or call me today at 530-637-1162 and let's discuss how we can best pay tribute
to your Fallen Military Spouse, Relative or Friend.
